Meeting began promptly at 6pm with a few club members just returning from a hike at Ben Eoin Provincial Park. Thanks to Wayne S. for arranging. Some great photos were posted on the site by the hikers. A Geocache was found by Glenn M. with his handy GPS. Informal meeting, no offical attendance recorded. Last meeting minutes were accepted as read. Topic of dive schedule was discussed. Marylynn mentioned to all present that Ken has been courteous enough not to put people don't for dives who havn't volunteered and because of this there is just one dive posted on the schedule by Ron N. Ken may have to resort to calling people in May to try to save the schedule if no interest is shown. Dives can be any day or time. Jean Dugas expressed to all present what hosting a dive is about. Hosting a dive simply means you will show up on the day and at the time you post. Meeting spots are a great idea. It's a good chance to dive with someone new or someone old. A suggestion was put forward that perhaps we can do some slideshows with Cape Breton diving photos with the public to increase interest or possibly have some local divers present photos on CB Diver with their experiences to increase interest in diving. So far we have skated, skied, curled and hiked. The next planned activity for divers who aren't ready to dive in this temperature is horseback riding. I will fill you in when I find out about booking. Meeting adjourned quickly at 6:20 pm and several club members brought pictures from recent down south trips to share. Jean D. and Ken J. provided laptop and a projector and we had the chance to view several slideshows from the trips. Commentary was interesting and so were the photos. Any bet says the underwear at the end of the world is rollies's hahahaha. And Bill... how were you able to recognize Paulette's undies... haha. Too funny. Thanks to all who participted in the days activities. Contacting/Joining the Nervous Wrecks: Membership in the Nervous Wrecks is $5.00 annually, due in January.
